Winter Surprise Proposal in Toronto
Fuad + Abby had driven from Ohio to Toronto that very day. Surely, filling the time singing together as they often do. The two arrived just hours before what may turn out to be this winter’s snowiest day. Nonetheless, they had finally found time between studies to visit a city on their list. Traversing the trail, huddled under an umbrella Fuad suddenly plunged his knee into the snow. “Yes!” she exclaimed scooping her now fiancé into her arms.
We started making magic. As I paused to rip the stupid rain protector from my camera and the dripping glasses from my face I asked the classic small-talk question: “Does your city ever experience weather like this?” Similar yes, but nothing like what they found themselves standing in. Without missing a beat Fuad added, “Through any storm, right?” “Yes, through any storm.” answered Abby.
They are also happy to report that wedding planning will happen immediately because after 7 years there’s nothing they want more than to be husband + wife.

Fuad and Abby met in high school when they both joined the debate team. They quickly became best friends but after two years they wondered if there was something more. After their first date, Fuad knew he had found his one and only. He couldn’t wait till he could see her again. No matter what the pair are doing together they always have a blast. Abby said that it could be something as simple as cooking but they’re still laughing and having fun. These two are so lucky that they’ve found their soul mate in their best friend.
