How to Hide an Engagement Ring on Proposal Day

So you’ve bought the perfect ring and have planned an amazing proposal. Then you think “how to hide an engagement ring?” Good question! How exactly are you supposed to have a ring box on your person and not have your partner notice? The last thing you want happening is them noticing a box stuffed inside your pant pocket. You’ve made it so far without blowing your cover. Make sure the last mile isn’t where things go wrong. Check out 5 ways you can hide the ring below!

Ditch the Box

This is an easy one. It’s the bulky box that kinda gives it away so why not ditch it? You can have the ring loose in your pant/shirt/jacket pocket and no one would be the wiser.

You can buy many things with secret compartments such as lint rollers, phone cases, and key chains. It shouldn’t be too hard to find an item that has a compartment big enough for an engagement ring.

Get Creative

Consider what your proposal has in store. Are you going to propose while out on a hike? It’s not suspicious if you bring a bag of snacks and water bottles. Use this or other items as a cover for a spot to stash the ring. Usually, get coffee? Hide it in a clean, empty cup that has a role cut in the side so the ring slides out quickly. Keep a sleeve over the hole so the ring is secure and there’s no suspicion. There are many other ideas like bringing a picnic or wearing the ring around your neck. Take some time to brainstorm some creative ideas!
