Angus Glen Golf Club
Angus Glen is a stunning victorian style building set on stunning sprawling golf course green. Locations available for ceremonies are Victoria Terrace, North Marquee Tent, Elgin Terrace, and Great Terrace starting at $1500. You can add a ceremony coordinator for an additional $500. Reception food service including bar starts at $130 per guest. Event room capacity runs from 40 – 600 guests. Minimum spend is $5,000 – $20,000. This venue is an active golf club so wedding photography locations on the property will be limited due to safety precautions.
Markham Museum
Love history and looking for a unique, quaint wedding venue? How about supporting a local museum? This location is a historical museum therefore not all interiors and spaces are available for wedding photos. You are allowed to create photography on the grounds, around the exterior of the buildings, inside the church (if you’re renting it), inside the wheelwright shop, and Maxwell Cabin (if not being used for other events). Outdoor wedding ceremonies are not accepted until early June due to inclement weather concerns.

Heintzman House
The Heintzman House is a stunning manor that is also one of the oldest buildings in Markham. It has a stunning conservatory addition that makes you feel like your in the great outdoors. This home offers so much character for a wedding venue. Catering is not available but this gives you the freedom to hire an amazing outside caterer. If you would like to have a bar service you need a Special Event Permit and a bartender that has Smart Serve. Maximum capacity for dining room is 112. No open flames or alcohol permitted outside the building. Wifi, air conditioning, and complimentary parking for 50 vehicles is included.
Crystal Fountain
Crystal Fountain is a beautiful modern wedding venue that has been around for 25 years. They offer multiple event rooms with 24 ft ceilings and projectors. Room capacities range from 100 – 900. As the name suggests there is a large fountain in the main entrance. Nearby wedding photo locations are Milliken Mills Park, Clark Young Woods, and main street Unionville. Pricing is between $100 – $140 per guest.
Markham Convention Centre
The Markham Convention Centre is a beautiful and elegant banquet hall located in the heart of the city’s hustle and bustle. Space available from 120 to 900 guests. It was even ranked number 17 on Wedding Bell’s prettiest banquet halls in Canada! The venue is located in a plaza therefore parking may be limited.
Savoy
The Savoy by Peter and Pauls is located within the Monte Carlo Inn in Markham. The capacity for this event space is between 50 – 275. Prices are between $80 – $100 per guest. Minimum spend is $5000. Unfortunately, there isn’t any space for your photos at this venue. However, photography locations near this location are Milliken Mills Park, L’Amoreaux Park North, and Markham Museum.

Markham Civic Centre
Looking for a modern and simple venue for your intimate wedding? How about the impressive architecture of the Markham Civic Centre? Inside the building and the grounds are very nice for wedding photography as the property features a large pond. Nearby wedding photography locations are Millennium Park, Main Street Unionville and Linen & Love Studio. The elegant chapel seats 45 guests. If you are getting married Monday – Friday they can provide in house officiants. Having an extra small wedding? They have a wedding room available which seats 8 people. However, the wedding room is not available on weekends.
