Casa Loma’s Conservatory, Toronto
Casa Loma is a castle that was built in 1914 for the wife of the owner. It is surrounded by five acres of stunning gardens in midtown Toronto. This unique historical landmark has so much character to offer your wedding event. The conservatory offers a gorgeous stained glass ceiling, colourful plants and large bright windows. Not only will you get the greenhouse you want for your day the rest of the castle is a one-stop shop for wedding photos and amazing catering. The capacity for the conservatory is 80 – 150 guests. Menu pricing ranges from $125 – $180 per guest.
Gage Park Tropical Greenhouse, Hamilton
This wedding venue is a newly constructed 14,000-square-foot greenhouse that features subtropical plants, unique species and palms. This greenhouse with ponds and waterfalls was designed as a community gathering place that could also be used for wedding photography. The venue’s capacity is 125 guests. The starting fee to rent this venue all day is $795+HST. Cooking is not allowed in this venue so you will need to hire a caterer or food truck that can operate outside.

Allan Gardens Conservatory, Toronto
Allan Gardens Conservatory wedding venue is a very beautiful botanical garden which is steeped in history. The main building, the Palm House, offers the most space for guests. This large conservatory has multiple wings showcasing many different plant types so you won’t run out of spots for your wedding photos. The Conservatory is also a great location for engagement photos!
Wedding Permit Cost: $180.77 per hour
Capacity: 40 guests
Keep in mind: Chairs are not allowed during ceremonies so guests will have to stand.

Madison Greenhouse, Newmarket
Madsen’s greenhouse is a very beautiful greenhouse located in Newmarket. Only an hour from Toronto, it’s a great escape for the city couple looking to whisk their guests away to the company of gorgeous flowers. If you prefer to have your reception in the greenhouse you can use their on-site chapel or outdoor ceremony location for your marriage.
Chapel Rental Fee: $1000. This includes a minister, music attendant, one-hour rehearsal, and a chapel coordinator.
Reception Hall: $7725 for Saturday wedding. Reduced rates offered for Friday, Sunday and winter wedding dates. Included in this price is the in-house DJ.

Parkwood Estate, Oshawa
After being closed to the public for many years Parkwood Estate’s Greenhouses have been restored. They are so beautiful and feature many very old plants. With the restorations completed, they are now offering the space for small ceremonies. this location would be best for elopements and intimate ceremonies with the limit being 10 people. You can rent this space for your event for $1000+HST. This includes a signing table, planner and day of coordinator, audio tech and mini sound system, music fees, and one-hour photo permit.
Centennial Park Conservatory, Toronto
Centennial Park Conservatory is a greenhouse located in Etobicoke. They only host ceremonies for up to 40 wedding guests. The fee to rent the space for your wedding ceremony is $192. If you would also like to have your wedding photos at this location the permit is $511 for 2 hours.
Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington
The Royal Botanical Gardens located in Burlington offers their Mediterranean Garden greenhouse for intimate wedding ceremonies including up to 20 guests. The greenhouse is available for rental year-round and sits amongst many beautiful gardens. This venue also has indoor wedding reception space.
Niagara Butterfly Conservatory, Niagara-on-the-lake
Express your love while colourful butterflies flutter all around you. What a dream. This conservatory has over 45 different butterflies that live within its tropical setting. A total of 2,000 butterflies will be in attendance of your wedding ceremony. What a unique and gorgeous venue for your big day! The Niagara Butterfly Conservatory is low on space so there is only space for 30 standing guests. Of course, if you have guests that are unable to stand for long periods of time, chairs are allowed. This venue also doesn’t have a reception option. However, Niagara Parks does have other venues available.

The two-hour time period included in the ceremony fee allows for set up, ceremony, photos and clean up.

Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory, Ottawa
As you probably noticed in the name Aquatopia is quite a bit different from your typical conservatory. On top to being surrounded by lovely tropical plants, you hear the soothing sounds of water in the background. The conservatory features many water plants to add a unique touch to your Ontario greenhouse wedding venue.

Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, Cambridge
Does being surrounded by tropical flowers, waterfalls and floating butterflies sound like a dream? Well, it’s a reality you can find for your wedding ceremony at Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory. This conservatory can accommodate 160 guests. The venue also has a reception space. One of my favourite parts about this venue is that they include a butterfly release as part of your ceremony. The fee for a ceremony is $1995.
