It was a year into his relationship when Ahmed realized how much Erica meant to him and vice versa. After meeting online a strong friendship blossomed between them alongside their romance. That’s when he knew that it was time to make her his wife. He ordered a ring and as soon as it arrived he got down to planning the big moment. That’s when I heard from him regarding his wedding proposal photos Toronto. They had their first date at a park and told me they loved nature and the outdoors. So even though they live in the heart of Downtown he wanted to moment to be in a forest. Therefore, Ahmed picked a quiet spot amongst the trees in High Park to ask the big question. He also enlisted two loyal friends to help in setting up the floors, sign and fairy lights before they arrived.

All three of us hid behind trees as the couple walked up to the proposal spot together. When Erica saw the decor her face immediately began to light up. Ahmed said a few romantic words and then got down on one knee. Erica’s reaction is definitely one of my favourites. Her smile and the hug she gave her love after saying “Yes!” could warm the coldest of hears. Afterwards we walked over to Sunnyside Beach to take their very fresh engagement photos. It’s a spot where they love to share an evening walk together during sunset. Thank you so much to Ahmed for trusting me to capture such a happy and important moment. It was such an honour to be there and capture their love on such a big day in their relationship.
