Scarborough Civic Centre Wedding

Nicole and Dam were married in the wedding chapel at Scarborough Civic Centre surrounded by a small group of their closest friends and family. They walked down the aisle hand in hand looking stunning and instantly everyone in attendance started crying. Nicole + Dam are a part of a very close family who spends so much time together. I actually first met Nicole at her nephew’s baptism. Before that I photographed him early in my photography career and when he was only 8 months old. Seeing him at the wedding was crazy because he’s now 5 and has a younger brother. Ever since photographing him, Sophia, his mother has been one of my greatest supporters. I was so happy when she called to ask me to photograph her brother’s intimate wedding. I absolutely loved photographing the big moment. After capturing the ceremony and family photos we had so much fun creating their portraits.

I actually found the location and building quite good for photos. This couple is so sweet, kind and easy-going. It was also very clear how in love they are just by looking at them. They were so happy and bubbly all I really had to do was let them spend the joyful moment together and capture it as it played out. It’s clear that kindness, love and joy are core values in their big family. After their ceremony, they continued on to have their reception at a nearby restaurant.

I’m wishing you both a lifetime of happiness. I hope the trend continues and I will see you at your family’s next big milestone. Maybe Nicole and Dam’s first baby? 😉 Thank you always to your amazing family!
