Brock St Brewery Wedding
I am so excited that I finally got to shoot a wedding at Brock St Brewery. It is Durham Region’s newest wedding venue located in Downtown Whitby. It’s been a long time coming and I had been so looking forward to Jess and Scott’s wedding there. On top of being of modern design, because it is located in the heart of Whitby it is close to many great photo locations as well. In addition, I have created a quick list of the great photo locations just a few minutes from the brewery.

The Main St
In case of rain, you can use the reception room or brew room which houses the fermenting tanks. It is more of a last resort so try to look into another location for rain back up. Studio 117 is literally just down the street.

Jess and Scott’s day was a blast. I started off with the girls at the couple’s stunning Brooklin home. Her bridesmaids loving watched at Jess’ mother, holding back her emotion, helped fasten her dress. They then moved to the kitchen where the bride gifted them with personalised Kate Spade bracelets which really got the tears flowing. Ready to stun, future Mrs. Morgan headed out to her Brock Street Brewery wedding to see her husband to be. The twos opted to have a first look to ease their nerves and to have a private moment together. Scott was so happy to see his bride and again tears streamed. As Jess came walking down the aisle it was Jess and Scott’s families turn to unleash the emotion. Their parents and grandparents just couldn’t help but cry happily that this perfect match was promising to spend their lives together. As ceremony turned to reception Scott ushered in the wedding party with the most hilarious introductions. I was cracking up so much I worried all my photos might come out blurry. (They didn’t) The Morgans really are a laid back and fun couple and I loved being at their wedding. Thank you so much, Jess and Scott, for having me and trusting me to capture your memories for time to come.
