Family Photography Durham Region

Almost two years ago I captured Melissa and Jim committing to love for life on their wedding day. It was so apparent how in love they were, especially when Jim cried as Melissa walked the aisle towards him. This past weekend I got to meet a creation of that love, nine-month-old baby Nash. It was amazing to get to see them again and to document how enamored they are with Nash. He is a happy little baby with reddish-blonde hair and striking blue eyes. I feel so honoured to have photographed another milestone in this family’s life. His parents may be the ones who will be cherishing these photos for years to come but one day he will return to this chapter, see the undeniable love and feel such warmth and happiness in his heart remembering how loved he is. That’s why photography is such an amazing gift for more than one generation. We had so much fun during our shoot at Long Sault Conservation Area in Bowmanville.

Jim got Nash giggling throughout by throwing him into the air, playing airplane and blowing on this hair. Melissa got him giggling by tickling him or just simply smiling at him. Melissa met Jim 5 years ago when she joined his baseball team. Jim is fairly quiet but once the two starting talking more they really connected. They still love playing sports and they’re looking forward to introducing Nash to all sorts of sports as well. As a family they enjoy going for nature walks, going to the zoo or improving their home. Thank you so much to them! I had such a blast creating with them and it means a lot to capture this time in life for them.
