Maternity Photographer Scarborough

When Amanda’s brother got in contact to hire me as his sister’s Scarborough maternity photographer I was so excited to hear the news. The session was to be a gift from their mom in heaven for Christmas I was so happy and honoured. I photographed Amanda and Kyle’s wedding only a few years ago with her mother in attendance and I hadn’t seen Amanda since. It was emotional to learn of her mom’s passing as she was one of my very first clients at age 18 when I had just started to pursue my dream of becoming a professional photographer. It’s pretty wild to think that I photographed them as a family all those years ago and that I continue to do so. It means the absolute world that people like Amanda support me so much. I’m so grateful that I was able to see the family again and capture photos of such a special event in the family for them to cherish for the rest of their lives.

It’s been a few months since Christmas and COVID allowed us to keep our planned session date. Thankfully! Luckily, I found an adorable bohemian style natural light studio about an hour north that was exactly what they were looking for. It was also a dream to shoot in. If you want to know what studio it was you can check it out here. As usual, this couple did amazing and their love and bond really shows in the photos. I can’t wait for their little baby boy to enter the world so we can create more photos. This time at their brand new home in Whitby!
