Allan Gardens Proposal Photos
Vidhi first saw Lohit at her internship. Being friendly, she smiled at him. However, the gesture wasn’t reciprocated. She brushed it off and wrote him off as rude. After some time they truly got to know each other. She now compares Lohit to a Golden Retriever. Everyone knows there isn’t an ounce of rudeness in Goldens! Only love, loyalty + caring! The pair were good friends by the time Lohit took time off to visit India. With this absence came a life-changing realization. They missed each other more then just friends do. They shared something special. When Lohit arrived home they became a couple.
I love these unharnessed smiles! So much happiness about becoming engaged at Allan Gardens! It helped that literally right after they got engaged a passerby asked what was going on. “They just got engaged!” I exclaimed. This opened the flood gates for the laughter. To celebrate Vidhi + Lohit went for dinner with their families. I’d like to think they also shared a scoop seeing as they love ice cream any time of year!

Lohit and I chatted for a couple of months about creating the perfect proposal for Vidhi. I was so happy when he finally decided on Allan Gardens. It’s quite the investment to photograph there but it really was beautiful. On top of that it didn’t matter how cold or rainy it was outside. It seemed like we had stepped through a portal into another tropical world. You would never know from the photography created inside the conservatory that it was a rather unappealing January day.
