Ajax Engagement Photographer

Yay! It’s so good to be back to working as an Ajax engagement photographer! Britt and Nick’s engagement session in Ajax, Ontario was my first shoot back after getting shut down due to the pandemic for the THIRD time. On that note, I very much appreciate all my clients that were so patient with waiting for their session and rescheduling when we had to. Anyway, it was so amazing to meet these two and create their engagement photos! They did absolutely amazing and I am so happy with the photography.

Their Story

Brittany and Nick meet during a camping trip which their mutual friend group set up. Everyone was carpooling and instead of cramming into a close friend’s car Nick had an extra seat so she went with him. During the drive to the campsite, the two shared in effortless conversation getting to know each other. When they arrived they felt completely magnetized to each other and spend the rest of the trip together. Britt said they “instantly became best friends”. A few weeks later, while hanging out Nick asked if he could kiss her. After he received a yes, he went for it and asked another question.

“Will you be my girlfriend?” Six years later the couple would purchase their first home together. On the day they got the keys their whole family was there, sweatpants and all, to help with the move. Obviously, with it being such a big moment their parents were taking photos of them before they made the big entrance. Then Nick said “Are you good?” to his mom in which she replied “Yep.” Confused as Brittany didn’t hear a shutter click she looked behind her to see Nick down on one knee. The tears instantly began to flow as she said “Yes!”
