Indoor Engagement Photos Toronto

It was a brisk yet sunny winter day when I excitedly met up with Monica and Carlos for their indoor engagement photos in Toronto. It’s so nice to hide away inside staying cosy and warm. They wanted to do something unique for their engagement session so I asked them where they feel most happy and comfortable. After taking some time to brainstorm together they landed on an adorable idea that I was so excited about. One of their favourite moments is Sunday mornings before the kids rise when they can cuddle peacefully before starting the day. So we planned for a playful and laidback session centred around their comfy bed. Shortly into shooting, Carlos surprised Monica with a bouquet of flowers and coffee from her favourite local cafe. I got all warm and fuzzy when I saw her adorable reaction and her huge smile.

The photo shoot actually fell on their 10-year anniversary. So romantic! After enjoying their coffee and snuggles the happy vibes got them goofing around like they were kids again. Feeling as if no one else was around they felt free to laugh loudly, cuddle closely, and whisper sweet nothings into each other’s ears. They talked about how they couldn’t believe how quickly the years passed. Monica said it felt like only yesterday she was feeling nervous about their first date. I’m so happy with how the photos turned out. I love shooting engagement photos in a place the couple feels most comfortable. In my opinion, it’s so much more special than choosing a park or location just because its pretty or photogenic. I hope I can do more at-home couple shoots! more couples start embracing indoor shoots.
