GTA + Toronto Engagement Photos
I specialize in slightly directed photography, so we won’t be doing anything traditional or strictly posed. We’ll aim to capture natural images filled with genuine emotions of you two enjoying time together. I won’t leave you hanging though! I give directions using prompts to create authentic actions, reactions, movements, and emotions. The goal is to create Toronto engagement photos which you can look at and say “That’s so us!” The secret to turning a good photo into a great photo is movement! Even slight bouncing and swaying can add energy to photos while making them look more candid.
How It Works
Leading up to your engagement photo session, we’ll discuss details like time of day and location. I send a pre-shoot questionnaire to gather more information about your relationship, personalities and how you’d love to be captured. Adding an activity to the shoot can make it even more unique to you which we’ll chat about. Before we begin, I’ll go over what to expect and helpful tips via email and in person on shoot day. My style is natural and candid so I encourage lots of movement, playfulness and giggles. My goal is to beautifully capture your relationship and the authentic feelings of connection that you can cherish for a lifetime.

We had Chelsey shoot our engagement photos in Kingston. We selected several places we wanted to go around Queen’s U. Though we are both scared of the camera, it turned out to be a lovely shooting with Chelsey. She let us be ourselves and enjoy being with each other. The moments she captured look amazing and we look very natural and dynamic in the photos (compared to the conventional posing in front of a camera). Would definitely go for Chelsey for more photos!

We booked Chelsey last minute for an engagement shoot at a family cottage after our other plans fell through. She was quick to respond and get us booked in, we were so glad she was available! My fiance and I are not always the most comfortable in front of the camera but the playlist Chelsea made for us was super sweet and helped us feel relaxed. We love how our photos turned out. We think back on how much fun we had during the shoot.
