Whitby Wedding Photographer

Leslie + Justin are high school sweethearts that first met when they were only 16 years old. Leslie joked that they were too awkward to really talk much at that time. However, they reconnected in their final year of high school and soon began dating. When they hired me to be their Whitby wedding photographer I was so happy about it. When we met at their consultation I could really tell how adorable and affectionate they are together. Their engagement photos are some of my favourites to date. They’re naturals! On top of that, their wedding was to take place on their fifth anniversary. I find that so thoughtful and romantic! Their wedding day began at Heber Down Conservation area for their photos and first look. I found it so sweet that they wanted to include Leslie’s father and Justin’s brother. Afterward, they went to Brooklin United Church for their ceremony, some more photos, and reception. For a church, I was shocked at how amazing the golden hour light came into the space. Makes a photographer swoon!

When it came to their wedding this couple wanted something that felt intimate and included only the people they have a strong relationship with. They also wanted to keep their budget as low as possible so they can get a house they can make a home as soon as possible. Therefore, they only had 50 guests, a cake made by her sister, and minimalistic decor. I absolutely love a wedding that keeps the little things in mind and doesn’t get too far away from what is truly important on a wedding day. I am so grateful that I got to create with this happy and in love couple. I hope you enjoy viewing their photos 🙂
