Trafalgar Castle Wedding Photos
Madison and Troy’s wedding day was amazing. They were married in the Trafalgar Castle chapel which is a beautiful, historic venue located in Whitby, Ontario. Madison and Troy met through mutual friends at a party they both happened to attend. After their emotional ceremony, we created their wedding photos both inside and outside on the Trafalgar Castle grounds. I am so in love with the photos that we created together. We then moved on to Brock St Brewing Company just down the street to celebrate the newlyweds. I have to say that the wedding venue decor is not remotely the most important part of a wedding day. However, the couple did a really amazing job of bringing the space to life. I really loved the modern choices such as the black and gold colour scheme, table categories of where they had travelled together and lots of candles.

Nonetheless, what stood out most to me about Madison and Troy is their strong connection that is immediately apparent. You can see how much they love each other in how they look at each other. Troy became very emotional watching his stunning bride walk down the aisle. When I was photographing Madison’s bridal portraits in the morning I asked: “Do you think Troy will get emotional when he sees you?” She responded, “He better because he cried during Cinderella.” Haha so funny! Just goes to show how much of a sweetheart Troy really is. The couple’s reception was definitely one of the most fun I’ve experienced. After their grand entrance, they started off with a perfectly choreographed first dance to Hozier’s Work Song. When all the speeches were said and done the awesome dance party begun. The newlyweds got the party started with another dance together. I was cracking up so hard when they announced a dance battle: Legree’s vs the Andersens. Was that ever fun to capture!
