The Doctors House | Kleinburg
The Doctors House is a stunning wedding venue located in the heart of Kleinburg Village. The main street is lined with adorable boutiques and trendy restaurants. You have indeed escaped the bustle and found yourself in a quiet country village. However, you are only 45 minutes from Downtown Toronto. They offer four different reception spaces which are The Great Hall, The Country Fare, The Heritage Room, and The Garden Room. Additionally, you can hold your ceremony in one of these rooms or in its stunning chapel. To add, you can get ready with your girls in one of their bridal suites. To hold a wedding ceremony at the venue it is $2,000 with an additional cost to hold your reception their also. The available spaces range from capacities of 90 – 280. The minimum guest count is 80. The Chapel
This historically inspired chapel is one of the most beautiful indoor ceremony spaces in the Greater Toronto Area. It has the old country charm but still feels modern with minimalistic white walls, chandeliers, cathedral windows, and dark walnut beams. It seats 140 guests. My favourite part is that you can ring the bell as you walk down the aisle as a newly married couple! You can book the chapel for your ceremony for $2000
The Great Hall
The Great Hall is the biggest of the spaces available with seating for 280. This gorgeous room is beautifully lit by many huge floor to ceiling windows that overlook the nearby conservation area. It also has it’s own private patio space with a fireplace for your guests to enjoy the summer night.

The Heritage Room has exposed wood beams for those who are seeking a more rustic feel. Additionally, the room seats 130, offers a balcony and rooftop with a view of the gardens.

The History
The Doctor’s House is one of the oldest buildings in Kleinberg and was built by John Klien in 1867. He came from France with the ambition to create a mill and offer his services to the local farmers. After building his mill he built his house which would get the name the doctors house for the medical professionals that would follow. During 1974 the house was restored and became a restaurant. In 1993 they expanded and created 4 banquet halls and the chapel. In 2012 it underwent even more expansion and modernization to make it one of the most sought after wedding venues in the GTA. The Doctors House is central to the surrounding tiny village with the McMichael Art Gallery, Kleinberg Station, Kortright Centre for Conservation nearby.
