Parkwood Estate Wedding Photos

Pamela and Derek’s Parkwood Estate wedding photos began at their beautiful century home in Oshawa. They got ready together with Pam’s mom helping out throughout the morning. With this being the second marriage for both of them they wanted their day to be laid back and fun. My favourite part of their day was how involved both their children were. Derek walked the aisle with his four kids and Pam with her two daughters. You could really feel how close they were with them and how important they are in their lives. The whole day was really a family affair as Pam’s mom was their officiant. Henceforth, we completed their bride and groom photos at Parkwood before their guests arrived. I always love photographing at this stunning mansion. It is such a gorgeous gem filled with character hidden in the heart of Oshawa.

Additionally, this couple was so fun to work with as they are so confident in their skin and with each other. It made my job easy as they were so naturally affectionate. After their outdoor ceremony at Parkwood’s Italian Garden under the hot August sun we continued to Bistro 67 at Durham College. It was the first time that I had the privilege of attending a wedding reception at Bistro 67. I really didn’t know what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how trendy and atmospheric the small space was. As a gardener, I was so impressed that the food is grown by the students. The food was fantastic which is always a sign to me of a well-rounded venue. I had such a blast on this intimate and connected wedding day.
